Ocean Lodge - Walk to the beach!

Great, quiet location with a garden Positive: Beautiful decor, functional kitchen, comfy bed and excellent en-suite shower. Negative: I was a little cold with the reverse cycle heating

Very enjoyable and ideal for our purpose which was to go in the Otway classic ride Positive: Comfortable Negative: One of the beds seemed to have dog hair on it.

Overall, a lovely stay in a great beach location. Positive: Location was fantastic, front yard space was excellent for our child and great place to sit and eat on the back deck. Our dog also loved the outdoor space as he is a large dog (35kg) and wasnt confined. Negative: Front gate did not close properly, making the pet aspect not very safe. The gate was always adjured and could have easy been worked open. Inside the house, the floors are well out of level and make a lot of noise, meaning our sleeping young child under 2 would be disturbed a number of times. Inside living space is a little small for our liking but truly nothing is wrong with it. None of the main doors have fly screens including some windows. Meaning those lovely nights we wanted to leave doors open for airflow meant we were inviting in the flies and mosquitos. As you do pay the additional cleaning fee, we expected the place to be better presented than it actually was.

Wonderful place to stay for lovely, relaxing stay in Torquay. Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Lodge. It is very clean and comfortable, with everything you need. The appliance are all new and work well and the beds were very comfortable. It has heating throughout and the kids absolutely loved the playground. The gardens are nice and well maintained. Walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants.

Comfortable, small house! Safe and secure for dogs .
